CINEMA is here!
This past Sunday was awesome. Partly because of a luncheon held at Mos Mos restaurant on Baricho road, Nairobi. And partly because I spent some time in Children’s Church earlier in the morning. It may have been the first time in many years that an event has been held for christians involved in media and entertainment. Not necessarily Christians involved in Christian entertainment and media.
CINEMA is an acronym for Christians In Entertainment and Media. The name was suggested (I believe) by Esther Arunga. Her talents are indeed myraid. The idea is Big Ted’s brainchild and provides a forum for believers who spend their life in the public eye to come and spend time with other believers, draw encouragement, hear the Word of God from a guest speaker and worship Jesus in a safe place.
Present last evening where Big Kev, Pastor Helon, Neema Ntalel, Muchiri Nyaggah (I couldn’t help it…), Jennipher Mwangi, Ousmane, DJ Soxxy, DJ Brayo, Andrew Alovi (HopeFM), at least two other Pastors and many other entertainers and media personalities.
