Found this very interesting. I can toss one of these gadgets in my car (or have one installed) and then trace my car via Google Earth!

I can toss the same gadget in my daughter’s schoolbag (they’ll probably be smaller by then) and know exactly where she is.

The Harvest School of Prayer is a 10 week journey that changes your prayer life forever (hopefully).  The graduation of the first Kileleshwa Covenant Community Church (K3C) School of Prayer was this past weekend at Jumuia Conference and Resort Centre in Limuru.  I am convinced the temperatures there got to sub-zero…it was freezing!

What comes to your mind when you think of Spiritual Warfare?  Is it a mystical, goose-bumpish affair reserved for those strange fellows who hover around the Intercessory prayer room?  Does it end when we say Amen?!  I found out that Spiritual Warfare and a lifestyle of prayer is a full time function for every Christian.  Very eye opening.  What has it been for you?

We’re in the 4th week of a Spiritual growth campaign called Spiritual Formation Groups. We just call it Renovare. Check out their website. I think it is a very practical way to grow in the Christian faith and it attempts to make us aware of biblical church traditions that we should observe.

It has been a very revealing few weeks for me and the members of my small group and the timing is awesome as well. God has shown up in a big way for us as a group and I continue to pray for revival in the Church. If I were you, I’d consider taking a Renovare journey.

At around noon today, Linda Wanjiku passed on.  Who was she?  She was a restaurant manager who most recently worked at the Yaya Centre branch of Nairobi Java House.  She was friendly, had great customer skills and was one of my favorite people there.

She was young, vibrant and had great promise.  We will miss her.  Our prayers are with the staff of Nairobi Java House and her family.
